What to Bring to the Testing Center

You will be required to present one valid, government-issued ID with a signature (e.g., driver's license or passport). The name on this identification must match the name on your Prometric confirmation notice. If you are testing outside of your country of citizenship, you must present a valid passport. If you are testing within your country of citizenship, you must present either a valid passport, driver's license, national ID or military ID. The identification document must be in Latin characters and contain your photograph and signature. All other personal items must be locked in a locker for test security purposes, so please limit what you bring to the testing center.

What Time to Arrive at the Testing Center

Plan to arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment to allow time for check-in procedures. If you are late in arriving, you will not be allowed to test and will forfeit your exam fee.

Scheduling Online

In order to schedule online, you must provide an e-mail address. Prometric will send you an e-mail confirming your appointment. If you do not have an e-mail address, please call the appropriate Regional Registration Center.

Personal Items

No form of study material or dictionaries, personal items, nor any food or drink are permitted inside the testing room. Personal items include, but are not limited to: pagers, cellular phones, digital watches, non-medical electronic devices, outerwear such as hats, scarves, purses, and wallets. Personal items must be kept in your assigned locker or placed in your vehicle prior to the start of your exam. Prometric is not responsible for any personal items and encourages you to bring only your identification into the testing center.

Calculators

Although a financial calculator is not required for an exam, use of any solar or battery-powered calculator that does not have alphabetic keys for typing words or that does not contain paper tape is permitted during an exam. Business/financial calculators – including those that are programmable – that meet these criteria are permitted. A PDA or cell phone cannot be used in place of an acceptable calculator.

Appointment Length vs. Exam Time

For CRM exams, appointments include time for you to review a pre-exam tutorial. The time for the tutorial, as well as a brief post-exam survey, is in addition to the two hour exam period.

Results

The CRM exams are scored by computer at the testing center. Once the candidate receives a passing score of 70% on all three exams, GRMI will issue a CRM designation completion certificate. It takes about six weeks to process a CRM certificate.
