NEW: ONLINE COURSE (MOOC): DQ101: INTRODUCTION TO DECISION QUALITY

October 21, 2013 – November 24, 2013

RIMS is pleased to announce its association with the Strategic Decision Group (SDG) and Dr. Carl Spetzler in offering this unique learning opportunity to our risk management community. At its core, a risk assessment is a decision making process made up of repeatable steps based on rational decision making. Understanding what forms a quality decision is foundational for achieving desired outcomes. This free five-week introductory course allows attendees to work in teams to learn the Decision Quality approach, which draws from the disciplines of business, engineering, psychology, organizational behavior, and decision science.

 

WEBINAR: PROGRAM PERFORMANCE: THE INTERNATIONAL CHALLENGE

This webinar will review some of the major tax-related issues risk professionals must be aware of to assure successful international program performance.  The panel discussion will focus on:  Tax Treatment of Non-Admitted claims payments, Principal Business Address/Domicile, Transfer Pricing, IPT, Premium Allocations and FATCA.

WORKSHOP: RISK ASSESSMENT METHODS

WORKSHOP: ENTERPRISE-WIDE RISK MANAGEMENT: DEVELOPING AND IMPLEMENTING

WEBINAR: CONNECTING THE SUPPLY CHAIN PUZZLE
